我国最大视频平台之一爱奇艺3日宣告，关闭其网站上一切的播映量闪现，转而凭仗人工智能技能向用户举荐视频。
播映量(view counts)即某个视频被用户看过的次数，是这些年引发颇多重视的"流量"数据的一种，其他的流量数据还包括，页面的阅读量(pageview，PV)，点击量(hits/clicks)，某个页面或许产品的独立访客数(uniquevisitor，UV)等。由此而发生的所谓"流量明星"就可以用online celebrity with a huge fanbase标明，或许简称为online celebrity，social media star也可以。
爱奇艺在声明中标明，将测验联系内容作品的美誉度、社会影响力、价值导向等多个要素，建立一个更为多元、归纳权重更为合理的热度评价体系。据爱奇艺首席内容官介绍，该体系包括三方面的数据：根据播映时刻的行为数据(behavioraldata based on viewing time)，重视用户观看某个视频的具体时长而不是视频的点击次数;用户互动数据(interactiondata)，包括谈论、点赞、转发等数据;用户共享行为数据(sharing behavioral data)。
爱奇艺在声明称，在"唯播映量论(making view counts the solecriterion)"的影响下，不少从业者将播映量数据作为方针，不只歪曲了创造和宣传的初心(distort the original purposes ofcreation and publicity)，还为招引眼球而低俗炒作，甚至令作业繁衍出刷量等违法行为(illegal acts like fakingview counts)。与此一起，劣币驱赶良币表象日趋举头，许多优质作品因为短少归纳客观的评价体系而沉没(good contents were floodedout of public sight due to the lack of comprehensive and objective assessmentsystem)。
